Whether you sit at a desk all day, have muscle imbalances or look down at your phone, poor posture can affect the things you like to do and your quality of life. The Postural Improvement class for ages 18 and older will emphasize correcting forward head posture and rounded shoulders. Addressing some of these common postural issues will help to lessen muscular and joint pain, improve hip and shoulder stability and improve overall posture; thus, enhancing functional movements and activities of daily living. Participants will meet every Thursday from 11 a.m. to noon at the Parker Recreation Center, 17301 E. Lincoln Ave., from June 8 through July 20. Cost is $70 for Parker residents and $77 for non-residents.
