Parker Recreation is partnering with Momentum Athletics to offer quality, beginning gymnastics, and ninja classes, with kid-sized equipment! These activities help children to increase strength, balance, and confidence, as a foundation for all sports and the rest of their lives.
Gymnastics classes are offered for ages 6 months to 11 years and ninja classes are offered for 2 to 4-year olds. Classes are offered on multiple days and times; please visit www.ParkerRec.com/gymnastics for class descriptions, dates, times and to register.
Gymnastics classes are held at the Parker Recreation Center, 17301 E. Lincoln Ave. or at Momentum Athletic Center, 18499 Longs Way, #102.
Bitty and Teenie Cheer sessions offer a fun and engaging way for kids to learn coordination, core strength and stability through the sport of cheerleading. Kids will learn all aspects of cheer including motions, jumps, and basic stunting and tumbling technique.
Both classes are held every Tuesday from May 2 through 23 at Momentum Athletics.
Bitty Cheer classes for ages 2 to 3 will be held 9 to 9:50 a.m. and Teenie Cheer, ages 3 to 4, will be from 10 to 10:50 a.m. Cost is $59 for Parker residents and $65 for non-residents.
