Summer Fun in the Kids' Zone

Kids' Zone

Who doesn’t love a picnic? Especially when it is with your favorite stuffed, furry friends! Kids ages 3 to 6 are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to the Teddy Bear Picnic to share a morning of stories, snacks, fun and games all related to our fuzzy friends on Wednesday, July 16 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $23 for Parker residents and $26 for non-residents.

Champ Camp is a non-stop, fun adventure for children 3 to 7 years old. We'll play soccer, t-ball and introduce them to track and field. Kiddos will meet July 19 through 21 in the Parker Recreation Center gym. Cost is $64 for Parker residents and $71 for non-residents.

Learn about spiders, dragonflies, lady bugs and more in this Creepy Crawlers! We'll build a bug jar, learn to identify different types of bugs and end the day with a bug hunt! This one-day class is held on Tue., July 29 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.; cost is $23 for Parker residents and $26 for non-residents.

Kids’ Zone classes are held at the Parker Recreation Center, 17301 E. Lincoln Ave. Visit www.ParkerRec.com/KidsZone to view more classes and event.
