Parker H2O'Brien Pool
H2O’Brien Outdoor Pool features two 182’ water slides, a large water play structure, a circulation and lap pool, a concession area and a sizeable deck space with seating and shade areas. Individuals of all ages will enjoy this attraction in the heart of downtown Parker.
Parker Parks and Recreation is ready for a Safe Return! With the recent update to state orders, we are excited to welcome you back to our recreation facilities. The phased Safe Return plan adheres to strict safety protocols for both patrons and staff, which include reduced facility capacities, limiting gatherings, enforcing social distancing guidelines, enhancing cleaning and sanitization efforts, using PPE and more.

Safe Return Sessions
With updated public health guidelines, H2O’Brien Pool capacity allows for up to 250 people per three-hour session: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m. daily. Session attendance is first-come, first-served; metered entry will occur as patrons leave the facility and staff will monitor capacity allowance based on proper social distancing within the facility. Registration is not required. Last entry will be at noon and 4 p.m. during the respective session and all patrons in the facility must clear the site at the end of each session. Daily admission, visit passes or memberships (once reinstated) will be accepted.

Little Squirts will not be held in 2020.
Monday through Friday, 9 to 10 a.m., , "Little Squirts" 5 years and under and their adult caregivers are invited to play at H2O’Brien Pool weekday mornings before Open Swim. Children over 5 will NOT be admitted into the pool until 10 a.m. Regular fees apply.
Adult Lap Swim & Water Exercise
Everyday, 8 to 10 a.m.*, Swimmers 16 and older can swim laps or do self-guided water exercise during this time. Lanes may be limited due to programming. Regular admission rates apply or lap swim is free with your Parker Recreation membership. Instructor-led aqua aerobics classes are available; click here for more Group Fitness information.
*Aug. 1 - no lap swim, July 27 through 29 - lap swim from 6 to 10 a.m. due to Recreation Center maintenance closure.
Event days will not be offered in 2020.
H2O’Brien Pool features fun contests, races, classes and more, on select days throughout the summer! Events are free with paid admission.
Riders must be 48" to ride red slide and 52" to ride blue slide. Only one rider is allowed on the slide at a time. Goggles, fins or life jackets are not permitted on slides.
Groups and Rentals
Field trips, parties and full rentals are not available during this phase of reopening.

Parker Aquatics is proud to partner with the American Red Cross to offer small group swimming lessons for children ages 6 months to 12 years, teenagers and adults at the Parker Recreation Center and H2O’Brien Pool. Click here for Group and Private Swim Lesson details.
View H2O’Brien Pool general rules. Pool rules and policies are also posted at H2O’Brien Pool. Patrons are responsible for reading and obeying all posted rules. Due to capacity restrictions, all patrons entering the facility must pay admission. Ages 5 and under and weak or non-swimmers must be accompanied in the water by a parent/guardian 16 years or older. Ages 6 to 9, it’s recommended that a parent/guardian is actively observing from the deck, unless children are weak or non-swimmers. Only U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation devices may be used in the pool. Food, drinks and coolers are allowed, however, glass containers and alcohol are prohibited.
Safety breaks will not be held during this phase of reopening. Safety checks are held daily at 12:50, 2:50 and 4:50 p.m. for 10 minutes. All patrons must exit the water and remain five feet away from the edge.
H2O’Brien may delay opening or close due to inclement weather. Refunds/Rainchecks are not given for inclement weather. Thunder, lightning and heavy rain or fog may prompt the closing of the pool. When thunder or lightning is heard/seen, the pool will close for 30 minutes. The closure will be extended 30 minutes for each consecutive bolt of lightning and/or crack of thunder. Safe Return Commitments
Any facility or program that opens during the Safe Return phased reopening will comply with current state and public health recommendations and will adhere to strict safety protocols for both patrons and staff. Please make the following commitments to contribute to a safe return:
- I will stay home if I feel sick.
- I will practice social distancing and not gather in large groups.
- I will wash my hands often. While outdoors, I will use hand sanitizer.
- I will cover my mouth and nose when I cough or sneeze.
- I will avoid touching my eyes, nose and mouth.
- I will wear a face mask whenever possible.

Guidelines are subject to change based on state, local and public health orders and recommendations. Program and facility operations may be closed or temporarily halted at any time during these reopening phases.in
