Salisbury Park North Expansion

The Town of Parker owns 91 acres of land adjacent to and north of the Salisbury Equestrian Park and Sports Complex, known as Salisbury Park North. In 2014 a Master Plan was approved by Town Council. Potential amenities include multi-use fields, baseball/softball fields, tennis courts, pickleball courts, play areas, pavilions, a sledding hill, community gathering areas, restrooms, adventure trails, parking, landscaping and other amenities. See the master plan here.

Design consultants are working on a site plan for the project to determine the need for phasing the park amenities based on the available budget and Town Council approval.

The first construction phase is anticipated to start in early 2025.

The 17-Acre Trails at Crowfoot Community Park, located south of Stroh Road, is now open. Some construction is still underway, so please be aware of your surroundings. The park includes a ballfield, a multi-use field, a nine-hole disc golf course, six pickleball courts, one tennis court, a playground, a basketball court, two picnic shelters, one restroom (not yet installed), trails and parking.

The park amenities are funded by the Developer of the Trails at Crowfoot community. The park will be maintained by the Developer for two years after the final acceptance of the park by the Town, which is anticipated to occur in late summer of 2023. After the Developer's two-year warranty period, the Town will own and maintain the park. Find more information about the Trails at Crowfoot Community Park here.

Rowley Downs/Tallman Gulch Trail

The soft-surface trail in the Rowley Downs neighborhood from the Tallman Gulch Trail to Omaha Avenue is being improved. The new trail will be a 10’ wide concrete trail. See the plan here for the location.

Public Service Company (PSCO) Right-of-Way Trail

A new 1.5-mile soft-surface trail is being designed from Canterberry Parkway to Latigo Lane along the PSCO right-of-way under the powerline. The trail will be a crusher fine material that will generally follow the existing two-track PSCO maintenance road. See the plan here.

Tanterra Community Park Construction

The Tanterra Subdivision, located just east of the Reuter-Hess Reservoir, includes a 31.36-acre Community Park. The site plan for the park is complete and includes a multi-use field, four pickleball courts, a playground, a trike track, three picnic shelters, one restroom, trails, parking and landscaping.

The park amenities are funded by the Developer of the Tanterra Subdivision. The park will be maintained by the Developer for two years after the final acceptance of the park by the Town, which has not been determined yet. After the Developer's two-year warranty period, the Town will own and maintain the park. See the park site plan here.
