Fieldhouse Climbing Wall

This 25’ indoor rock climbing tower with an adjacent bouldering structure incorporates natural features for a realistic rock feel with many hand and foot holds, presents a variety of challenges for novice and experienced climbers alike. Benefits of climbing include a sense of self-awareness, a feeling of accomplishment and confidence-building in a safe, yet exciting activity. As you gain strength, flexibility and endurance you will begin to enjoy mastering more difficult routes. You need not be a super-athlete to enjoy climbing since solid technique trumps strength.

We cater to all skill levels and provide all of the gear you will need. We offer encouragement and suggestions as we belay climbers as young as age 5 through adults.

For experienced climbers, the routes are changed often on our seven ropes and bouldering wall for a variety of challenges from 5.6 to 5.12 difficulty, or perhaps you are up to climbing "all naturals" on our seven top ropes.

Waiver of Liability

We must have a current Waiver of Liability (PDF) and release on file for everyone using the climbing wall. Please do not forget to read and sign the climbing wall rules portion on page 2.

We are currently offering Parent/Child instructional classes. Click here for additional information and to register.

One-on-One Adaptive Climbing Wall Sessions

For people of all ages with disabilities, our trained climbing wall instructors will help participants reach new heights with one-on-one Adaptive Climbing Wall sessions. Climbing may help improve strength, flexibility and confidence. Adaptive climbing equipment is available. For more information, email climbingwall@parkeronline.org.

Mt. Everest Challenge

Participants ages 8 to 14 simulate the Southern Route of Mt. Everest in the Himalayas by climbing a specific number of times to reach the 5 camps before reaching the summit. When the climbers are successful, they design their own flag to plant on our Mt. Everest model and also get their names engraved on our permanent plaque, which is displayed in the climbing area. Be aware, Mt. Everest is not for the faint of heart, but if you succeed, at least you have not suffered frostbite!
