  3. Softball: Rogue Girls Fastpitch Hitting Camp

    July 9, 2018, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

The Rogue Softball Hitting Camp is designed to introduce young players to the fundamentals of hitting and how to build and sustain a repeatable swing and approach. Hitters will learn about basic movements and positions that create a high-level swing, work through simple drills that emphasize and develop these movements, and test those skills with live swings. In addition, Rogue coaches will provide players with a framework for their approach at the plate, focusing on pitch recognition, gaining an understanding of the strike zone, and using their strengths and weaknesses to control that zone. Players will leave this camp with strategies and drills to continue progressing as a hitter. In addition to drill work in these areas, players will participate in games and competitions designed to foster competitiveness and put their skills to the test! Players will leave this two-day camp with the tools they need to continue to work hard and improve as a ballplayer!
