  6. SkateStart Level 1

    July 19, 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM @ Railbender Skate and Tennis Park

    This single-day camp is for beginners or those who have never tried skateboarding and want to get rolling. Campers will use the uniquely patented SkateStart skateboard (provided for use at the camp) to learn how to push and roll successfully with proper technique and foot placement. Once you have completed the Level 1 class and leave with your certificate of awesomeness, you’ll be ready for a more advanced SkateCamp and more fun!

    Prepare for babysitting opportunities. Topics include: routine care such as feeding, bathing and diapering, safety precautions, activities, games, discipline, home hazards, common injuries and how to handle emergencies. Students will also learn infant and child rescue breathing, CPR and choking procedures. For ages 11 to 15.
