This class is tailored for adults, ages 18 and up; cost is $45 for Parker residents and $50 for non-residents.
Strength Training: Strength from the Inside Out
Whether you are a cyclist, runner, lifter or generally an active adult, prepare to access untapped power and enhance your performance and strength by learning techniques to train more efficiently and effectively, from the inside out. Adults, 18 years and older will meet with a certified personal trainer every Thurs. from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., Jan. 21 through Feb. 25 where you will use different tools and props to learn how to find your strength and power from within. Tension is often a barrier, so we will also focus on slow motion strength training activities such as squats, pushups, etc. and each class will end with myofascial release. Cost is $60 for Parker residents and $66 for non-residents.
These fitness classes are held at the Parker Recreation Center, 17301 E. Lincoln Ave. For more information on personal training or other fitness and wellness programs, please contact Todd Panik at 303.805.3278 or by email at tpanik@parkeronline.org.
