Event_Cattle Crossing

Giddy up! Grab your cowboy hat and stick horse because Parker Parks and Recreation’s Cattle Crossing 5K & Family Fun Trek with RNK Running & Walking is going to make ya’ll shout YEEHAW as we celebrate the beginning of summer and Parker’s rich rural history on Saturday, June 1 at 8 a.m. at Tallman Meadow Park, 12335 Canterberry Parkway in Parker.

Part of the Parker Parks and Recreation Run Series, the Cattle Crossing 5K &
Family Fun Trek is a western themed event and costumes are encouraged! The 5K is professionally timed and the Family Fun Trek is about one mile of laid-back, outdoorsy fun, which includes a “duck hunt” for the kids.  All registered participants receive a commemorative “tin” campfire mug, a chance to win great prizes and a delicious, post-race pancake breakfast! The free Kids’ Dash for children 8 and under will follow the run; no registration necessary. Online registration closes May 29 at noon. Register early for the lowest price and check out the family/team registration competition! Find additional information and register online at www.ParkerRec.com/CattleCrossing5k. Contact Charlie Rhode at cwrhode@parkeronline.org for more event information.

Parker Parks and Recreation would like to thank our Cattle Crossing 5K & Family Fun Trek Title Sponsor; RNK Running & Walking and Finish Line Sponsors; Ent Credit Union, Macaroni Kid Douglas County, Parker Academy of Martial Arts, Parker Lifestyle and Parker Natural Grocers.
