Join Parker Parks and Recreation for the new Cattle Crossing 5K & Family Fun Trek with RNK Running & Walking on Saturday, June 3 at 8 a.m. at Tallman Meadow Park, 12335 Canterberry Parkway in Parker.

One of the most scenic events in the Run Series, this sanctioned and professionally timed 5K course meanders through the picturesque Idyllwilde community. Many will catch a glimpse of various animals along the trail, whether it be birds, deer or cattle, so be sure to keep your eyes open! Pre-registration, which closes at noon on May 31, is $25 for the 5K and $15 for the one-mile Family Fun Trek, with walk-up/race-day registration for an additional $10. Register online at www.ParkerRec.com/CattleCrossing5k. All registered participants receive a commemorative item, a chance to win great prizes and a delicious, post-race pancake breakfast! The free Huntington Learning Center Kids’ Dash for children 8 and under will follow the run; registration is not necessary. Contact Charlie Rhode at cwrhode@parkeronline.org for more event information.
