    This course is designed to give knowledge necessary for the first-time babysitter. The skills covered are Pediatric CPR/First Aid with a two-year certification, personal safety, growth and development, discipline, injury and illness prevention and basic childcare such as diapering, feeding and bathing.   2. H2O'Brien Pool Opens

    H2O'Brien Outdoor Pool features two 182' water slides, a waterworks play structure, a spray garden, sprays and geysers, a circulation and lap pool, a concession area and a shade pavilion. Individuals of all ages will enjoy this spectacular pool! *weather permitting*

  4. Lifeguard Training

    For ages 15 and older, Parker Recreation offers lifeguard training to learn how to safely rescue swimmers while maintaining personal safety. Course meets all requirements to become a lifeguard for American Red Cross facilities including CPR / AED training and First Aid certifications.   5. National Senior Health & Fitness Day - Senior Stroll

    National Senior Health & Fitness Day is a nationwide health and fitness event for older adults. The goal is to promote the importance of regular physical activity. More than 100,000 older adults will participate in local events at more than 1,000 locations nationwide. To celebrate National Senior Health & Fitness Day, Parker Parks and Recreation hosts the annual Senior Stroll. This free event consists of a one-mile fun walk on a paved trail, delicious refreshments, socializing with friends, along with great giveaways!
