Getting Started

Youth ages 13 to 14 must complete a mandatory Fitness Equipment Orientation before utilizing the weight and cardiovascular areas within the Recreation Center and Fieldhouse. They must also complete an orientation prior to participating in any group fitness classes.

Youth ages 13 and 14 are required to be with an adult in the fitness areas while working out. 

Fitness Equipment Orientations are offered at the Recreation Center. Registration is required. Orientations include a demonstration on the proper use of equipment, weight room etiquette and proper equipment safety. Get more information and register here

Specialty Fitness for Youth

Several Youth Specialty Fitness classes and camps are also offered, including Strength and Conditioning classes, Speed and Agility and more! Registration is required for Specialty Fitness classes. Get more information about specific classes and register here.
