What You Can Do
Through the Adopt-an-Open Space/ Street / Trail Program, participants help keep the Town of Parker clean by adopting a street, open space, or trail and periodically picking up the trash in that area.
View informational packets for additional program details:
The volunteer group agrees to pick up trash on the street section at least once a month April through September and once every 2 months October through March. The Public Works Department or Parks Division provides participants with orange trash bags for debris removal. Orange vests are available for those working on or near roads.
After the trash pick-up is complete and the Public Works Department or Parks Division is notified, crews are sent to collect the full trash bags on the morning of the next working day. Following the completion of the third trash pick-up, a recognition sign that lists the organization or individual that adopted the area will be posted in each designated location.
How To Get Involved
The Town of Parker is a beautiful place to live, but we need your help to keep it that way. If you or someone you know is interested in adopting a street, park, open space or trail, call the Public Works Department at 303.805.3206 or email Parks and Recreation to sign up today.
