Public Posting/Commenting Policy
The Town will decide whether to accept comments on its social media accounts on a case-by-case basis. All comments should be responded to in a timely manner and in accordance with the Town's social media policy. The Town encourages comments, concerns and questions regarding any of the topics found on Town social media Web sites, but will remove the following types of comments:
- Comments that incite illegal activity
- Obscene or profane comments
- Comments fostering, promoting or perpetuating illegal discrimination
- Libelous or defamatory comments
- Comments containing specific or imminent threats
- Comments infringing on copyrighted or trademarked material
