Youth soccer for grades 1 and up is offered year-round with a variety of indoor and outdoor seasons. Teams are led by volunteer coaches and we are always in need of coaches.
Currently, indoor soccer is held in the summer and winter and outdoor soccer is held during the spring and fall.
The age group your child plays in will be determined by their age at the end of each season. They must turn the minimum age or still be the maximum age at the end of the season. Age groups will overlap. If your child is an age that overlaps, please choose the division based on their past playing experience, skill and size. For outdoor sessions, teams practice 1 day per week and play games on Saturdays. Practices are held at Tallman Park and Stroh Ranch. Games are played at Stroh Ranch.
Mini Mite & Kinder Soccer
Mini Mite (ages 3 and 4) and Kinder Soccer (ages 4 to 6) are offered on evenings and weekends throughout the year. Each session is volunteer led.
The format for both age groups breaks each 60 minute time frame into a practice and a scrimmage. Kids will learn skills and drills and practice for the 1st half of the session and then scrimmage against each other during the 2nd half. This is not organized like the youth soccer and kids will not play other teams, just scrimmage each other. This is a fun and low-key way to introduce your child to soccer.
BOOM Soccer BOOM Sports and Parker Parks and Recreation offers soccer skill development for kids ages 18 months to 3 years. In addition, BOOM Soccer 3 Plus, for kids ages 3 to 6, is now being offered. BOOM Soccer enables participants to work together in a fun-filled, soccer-based environment. Classes build on motor development skills while incorporating the fundamentals of soccer, helping to develop each child’s listening, balancing, running, agility, jumping, and kicking skills through fun games and activities.
